We’ve had an incredible journey at Day Wireless Systems throughout 2024, and we’re excited to recap the remarkable developments that have shaped our company’s growth and success.
Our expansion story last year was phenomenal. We’ve established a strong presence in the Sacramento market, extending our footprint further into California. Through our strategic acquisition of HOFCON, we’ve strengthened our market position in Europe and internationally, and welcomed valuable new expertise to our organization.
We’ve also given our operations a fresh start with a headquarters relocation, providing the space and facilities needed to support our expanding business. The successful TRBOWest system expansion throughout the Western US demonstrated our ongoing commitment to leading the communications technology industry.
Our rental division has experienced extraordinary growth in 2024. We’ve made major investments in our equipment fleet, adding thousands of R2 and R7 radios to our inventory. We’re particularly proud to now offer VB400 body cameras in our rental lineup, meeting the growing demand for body-worn camera solutions. These additions represent thousands of new pieces of equipment available to our customers.
Our network infrastructure has grown dramatically with the acquisition of approximately 50 new sites, and we’re not stopping there – more expansion is already in the planning stages. This growing network means enhanced coverage and more reliable service across our service areas.
We’re pleased to welcome our new leadership team members, with Lane Falkner joining as CEO and Dave Tinio as CFO. Their strategic vision is already helping shape our future direction and growth initiatives.
One of our most significant operational improvements has been in our upfitting division. Our new, spacious facility in Longview has enabled us to consolidate our Vancouver and Longview operations, improving efficiency and enhancing our service capabilities.
As we look toward 2025, we’re energized by the momentum we’ve built. The foundations we’ve established this year – from geographical expansion to fleet investments, from infrastructure growth to operational improvements – have positioned us perfectly for continued success.
We’re particularly excited about what these changes mean for our customers. Our expanded rental fleet offers more options and better availability. Our growing site network provides improved coverage and reliability. Our new upfitting facility allows us to handle more projects with greater efficiency.
As we wrap up 2024, we’re grateful to our dedicated team members who have made all of this possible, and to our loyal customers who continue to trust Day Wireless Systems with their communications needs. With all these positive changes and more great things on the horizon, we’re looking forward to an even stronger 2025.
